Pioneer Village is a living history museum located at 4800 Highway I, just north of Saukville. The village contains 20 restored and authentically furnished houses, barns, outbuildings, and the original Cedarburg Railroad Depot, all of which show how pioneer Ozaukee County residents lived in the 1800’s. (Pioneer Village is open for tours on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer, along with special events.)
Ozaukee Master Gardeners planted herb and rose gardens, and maintain other flower beds and shrubs. Planting, pruning, and maintenance are done several times each year.
